PASCHIMTTANSANA (SEATED FORWARD BEND) – It is also called intense dorsal stretch. This seemingly asana is a classic hatha yoga pose. It has several benefits as it strengthens the back and abdominal muscles, tones the legs, neck & arm muscles. Add greater flexibility to the back too.
UTTANPADASANA (RAISE FOOT POSE) – Is beneficial for those suffering from lower back pain and want to reduce belly fat. Uttanpadasana means the raised leg pose. It is an excellent exercise to strengthen the abdominal muscles and the lower back. It is relatively easy to practice.
